A spooky savoury snack for Halloween…
In search of healthy savoury snacks for me and my toddler, I was inspired to make this savoury version of a granola. It uses store cupboard ingredients and nutritional yeast flakes (which I came across in my new year’s cupboard cleaning mission) to make a snack that can be nibbled on at any time of day. It is highly nutritious and pleased both me and my little lady.
Here is a version of the classic date slice: juicy dates sandwiched between two layers of oaty, buttery crumble but without refined sugar and with added linseed goodness. This slice is a wholesome treat to delight the little people and other dried fruit enthusiasts.
Quick and easy to make and without sugar, these are the perfect snack for your little monkeys! With two types of banana (hence the name), these biscuits have a good banana kick that everyone can enjoy.
A healthy Halloween treat! Your little ones will love these muffins (as will the grown-ups). They have chunks of butternut squash hidden amongst the moist and fluffy cake with a sweet cinnamon flavour.
Quick and easy to make, these biscuits are wholesome and a perfect size for little hands.
A simple and nourishing dish to warm our tummies on a cold day. This is a one pot wonder for the whole family!
